New Hardware Revolution

The editorial in the June issue of Maximum PC talks about an upcoming hardware revolution coming about due to so many big name titles coming out soon. I can hardly disagree with that, most want to make sure that can run Doom3 or Half-Life 2 in all their glory.

Does anyone remember the last one? I remember when Quake 2 came out all my friends got Monster cards.

Yep, and 2 years ago, Doom3 was supposed to be designed for GeForce3. I even bough one at this time, payed 650$CDN. The game is not even out yet that i had to change my card.
