FarCry Console save

Is there a problem with the console save game with farcry??I tried and could save/load the game , but there is be a LOT of jerkiness in gameplay after I loaded the saved game.Is anybody facing a similar prob????

I'd check the official forums and look there... you can probably find out better that way.

No jerkiness, but after a load the bodies disappear (the weapons are left behind) and once in a while you might see something strange (like your character 5 feet up in the air). Most times, for me, it works just fine.

I'd rather have it for the PC, unless it wouldn't run very well on mine or else I'd get the Xbox version.

By "console" he means the console that drops down when you press the ~ key on the PC version, not that he's playing the console version of the game. If I misunderstood what you were saying/thinking, sorry.

They said a week or twon ago that they were nearing release, but I haven't seen it yet. I'm fairly sure it's not out yet. You can get very fast using the console save, though. ~ , (up arrow) recalls the last text you typed (Enter)
~ About 3 seconds total, once you've typed it in the first time after starting the game. Everybody probably knew that, though (about using (up arrow)).

No? Were you talking to me? If so, then I just thought I saw an article that said it was released... maybe it was one of the articles where they were testing the nVidia/ATI performance fixes.

Here's the latest "official" word I could find on the patch progress (it was posted today)

"So for those of you who aren't happy about how this patch delay situation was handled, I feel your pain, but I didn't feel the need to pop up on the boards every week to tell you that more bugs were found which delayed the release. That said, we are very, very close. However, being the realist/pessimist that reading this forum has made me, I am also sure that this statement will be met with "that's what you told us XXX days/week ago", which only goes to prove my point that it would not have been useful to constantly post messages like this.
