For all you new Shadow Magic players (that includes you too MarkN), I am solely here to introduce you to the Shadow Magic community found here: http://aow2.heavengames.com/
There was alot of mention of Shadow Magic in the "looking for a turn-based strategy game" post, so I decided to make this thread.
If you think you're addicted now, may I offer that you get involved in the PBEM (Play by e-mail) games once you get yourselves familiar with the game.
You can join the Wizards' Ladder to receive a ranking or just play leisurely games with other enthusiasts. I learned about it from these forums 3 months ago and from my experience, not only are they fun but surprisingly the games play faster then they sound like they would. Because of the anticipation of the next turn you typically get in multiple turns per day, multiply that by the number of games your in and ......you get the idea. So if PBEM games don't sound like your "cup of tea" I say try it anyway, you may be surprised, I sure was.
Multiplayer through Gamespy is also an option but I have had problems with incompatible connection speeds with other players.
