I played a demo of Seven Kingdoms: The Frythan Wars a few years ago. It was pretty fun. I saw it at Pic N' Save (Big Lots) last week for $3.99. FYI: If you look carefully, there are some good deals on ooold games at Pic N' Save. I nearly bought Seven Kingdoms and I Was an Atomic Mutant (I think that's the name), all for about ten bucks, but instead I bought a couple of giant styrofoam airplanes (don't ask).

Oh, and I hear that Greece's win is a pretty big deal. Soccer's not too big over here, but I really enjoy watching. Every now and then I'll tune-in to one of the many Mexican TV stations, as there's almost always a game on. And congrats on the 27-1 payoff.

Seven Kingdoms II was a great game but ultimately it was too complicated for its own good (or mine really). I still have it and I'm tempted to play it again but the time investment is just a little more than I can handle. It should probably be considered one of the more original RTS games around though.

The problem with 7Kingdoms for me was the games could last for hours and hours. Once the more powerful kingdoms stabilized, it pretty much turned into a perpetual deadlock. By that time, it became a matter of managing the economy.
