BTW the pictures are a tad late. They came out on the 22nd. Still.... great looking pictures. The Colossus is one HUGE ship!

looking very nice... hope it plays as well as it looks... Graphics sure are outstanding. I read somewhere that that base building will not be a part of the game... wonder how that will work out....

Full game listed release date Oct 1. The game focus's on tactics not resource gathering.
As a concept-level introduction to Nexus - The Jupiter Incident, what type of game is it, and what manner of gameplay experience can we expect it to offer?
Zsolt Nyulaszi: Nexus is a real-time strategy game, but not a common RTS. You don't need to build anything or have an economical race against your opponents. You simply get your units and then, it's up to you to fulfill your objectives with the forces you've been given.
You can control up to 10 huge spaceships in tactical-level battles. These units can accept a wider range of commands than usual in standard RTS games. The detail and characteristics of commands are much more tactical. Your units can have up to 30 subsections and devices like weapon systems, shield generators, engines... etc., and you can control all of them individually.
The game flow is linear and follows the story. This allows us to create an excellent atmosphere and a strong story. You can keep your units from mission to mission, with crew members gaining experience and developing their skills. The game has three difficulty levels and also a multiplayer mode. The whole campaign can be played through in either of two control modes - by simple tactical commands for more casual players, and in manual mode for hardcore gamers, who can have access to all the subsystems of your ships and do the micro-management themselves.
