This has been reported on once by Reuters, covered by the Scotsman and in the Brussel's journal. That's it.

They're rioting over the death of a Muslim in prison. They're claiming he was poisoned, so far an autopsy has been inconclusive.
So we no longer report on major rioting because it might offend Muslims?

I think you're rushing to judgment if you say this is necessarily political correctness at work.

So what do you think it is?

Could it be this, it's thought in some circles that if you publicize riots, terrorism or just bad actions of orginized groups it will "fuel the fire" and keep adding to the problem, sustaining it. And if you don't publisize it, it will "die out" much quicker, if you can't make a "statement" for everyone to hear, your not as inclined to go out and participate.

Ah yes, the old saw of "ignore it and it will go away." It's usually "ignore it and the problem becomes so much bigger that it takes someone else ot fix it" that is more realistic. Kind of like burying one's head in the sand. They're not rioting for publicity, they're rioting to force change through violence.

So what do you think it is?
A. the riots don't seem incredibly large.
B. I don't recall ever hearing anything that was ever happening in the Brussels streets being reported in the US.
C. US news sources have reported on all kinds of Muslim violence otherwise without any fear of being too un-PC, so what changed their mind this time?

I disagree, I think publicity will always exacerbate these issues. Do you think they wouldn't be proud to have made American headlines?

I think it's biased if the media is going to blast christianity, the pope, Europe for their cartoons, and talk about how evil the white man is without not talking about the actions by muslims in the world. I think there is some correlation between the Pope talking about violent muslims in history and current modern day violence conducted by muslims on a global scale. Just my 2 cents.
