sirens are going off right now
its been awhile since we had a tornado in my area
they never actually touch down though, too close to a lake
its fun watching the people who are newer to the area start freaking out, while he people who have been living here for awhile just go about their business as usual

bah, you dont have to worry about tornados in houston, just worry about the traffic and the unique houston stench that you can smell the second you cross over the city line
i live in the dallas/ft. worth area, we are used to tornados

It has a clip of Helen Hunt saying, "Cow" and then shows the flying cow, then she says "Cow again" seconds later, then that flying cow's shown again going in the opposite direction and Pullman says, "I think that was the same one." Pretty funny.

My wife and I, before we were married hopped in the car and followed what we thought was a small tornado. We started on a path towards it as it was running west and starting to come down. We were within view as it touched down a couple of hundred yards away from a school, they the time it hit the school it sounded like a train and we were really close. The roof of the school turned into a million little pieces and we hit the brakes as hard as we could. It was one of the coolest things I had ever seen and at the same time it went from being exciting to scaring the *&#^ moment.
This tornado ended up being on the gound longer than any other in Indiana history. I think it was something like 17 miles

Good thing you didn't have kids in that school or else it would've been horrific for you to see that.
