My new Dell arrived, all went VERY well, and it's blasting the ever-lovin' snot out of my old PC. av_wink.gif I've tested Dawn of War, UT2k4, and WoW... all w/ the settings jacked sky high, but NOTHING slows down The Beast! MWU HA HA HA! Tonight, Doom 3... soon, I'll be hitting Far Cry and Halflife 2... and then, the holy grail of visual kickassedness.... LEMONAID TYCOON! AH HA HA HA HA HA!!!

Lucky you, yours started right up! when my dell arrived last year i started it and got the dreaded Beeeepp Beeeeep sounds... No bueno, sent it back for a new one (on first day) then a few months later my harddrive failed. had it replaced after 1 month of explaining the same story to over 20 technicians. who kept telling me the same BS as the last technician. other then that, good computers bad tech support.

Hope you never call tech support av_razz.gif

Mine started up and hauled *** right out of the gate! So far, it all went off without any complications... got a lot done last night.

Specs:

P4 540 (3.4GHz; 800fsb; 1M L2)
1G DDR2 RAM (400MHz)
GeForce 6800 256M (PCI-e) "Pound you in the adz" video card
160G HD (7200rpm)
48x CD-RW
16x DVD-ROM Drive
Floppy Drive
Soundblaster Live!
Integrated Ethernet
1-yr. Warranty
Threw on Diskeeper Pro, because they're good peeps.

Grand total: 1028.27$ (shipping, tax, instant coupon included)

Actually, I had to call tech support, due to my (as I put it) "missing" Windows XP Home disk... knowing full well that they are bastards, and probably wouldn't send me the actual disk. Well, after less than 5 minutes of waiting, a minute of explaining my "confusion", and another 2 minutes of waiting, my XP Home disk is now on the way to me. av_wink.gif

Heh! There are more (ones that are more powerful) -just check out some of the sigs.

It just seems like the Rack's and mine are the only ones that are truly trademarked.

btw - Dont forget about the
OmegaBob's Uber SFF Rig (TM)
that is currently in production.

EDIT: That should read UBER and not "Ultimate"

PFFFFT.... no there aren't! Just because they have silly bigger numbers in the specs does NOT mean they are more powerful. BEHOLD: The Beast can destroy a hackers soul, should he dare to tread "on my yard". The Beast can render 1.8 bajillion fanboys steril by accessing it's internal database of Truenames and speaking them aloud. Forget all you have learned, as The Beast cares not for the rules of your puny mortal realm... The Beast is a mathematical miracle, with specs coalescing to form a whole which is several orders of magnitude greater than the sum of its parts. Taunt not The Beast... for He may be listening... MWU HA HA HA HA!

PS: WTF is the deal w/ the lower-case "o"? It's ****ing me off, fix it.
